The First Cliff Walk with the Eiger, Grindelwald
Description
Grindelwald First is one of the great viewpoints of the Bernese Oberland, close to the Eiger. This private day takes you there through some of Switzerland’s loveliest lake scenery.
On the way from Zurich, about 1 h 50 min, you pass Lake Lungern and Lake Brienz. In Grindelwald the gondola takes about 25 minutes up to First, where the Cliff Walk clings to the rock face.
On the return you stop in Lauterbrunnen, where the Staubbach Falls drop about 300 metres from the cliff.

Itinerary
Pickup
Collection at your hotel or holiday flat in Zurich and drive towards Grindelwald.
Lake Lungern
A first view of the clear mountain lake on the drive of about 1 h 50 min.
Lake Brienz
The road follows Lake Brienz, with its turquoise water and mountains all around.
Grindelwald First
The gondola takes about 25 minutes from Grindelwald up to First, past valleys and snowy peaks. At the top: the Cliff Walk.
Grindelwald
A stop in the village at the foot of the mountains for photos.
Lauterbrunnen
The Staubbach Falls, which drop about 300 metres from the cliff face.
Return
Drive back to Zurich, about 2 hours, by the same route.
